The following is an estimate of the trainer time required for each module of the ACSM training and assessment activities. Please note that not all these activities will be delivered by the Principal Trainer.
- Planning and informal discussions = 1 hour
- Induction meeting = 0.5 hour
- Interim Review Meeting = 0.5 hour
- Summative Meeting = 0.5 hour
- Assessing and discussing feedback from patients and colleagues = 0.5 hour
- Assessing WPBAs and practical procedures = 4 to 10 hours, depending on module
- Assessing evidence of reflection, formal teaching, and informal learning = 1 hour
Total time approximately 8–14 hours.
The Training Hub has been designed to make administration and sign-off as straightforward and quick as possible.
