CoSRH recommends a minimum of three referees who, between them, can provide detailed, curriculum-wide support for your evidence and demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of specialist practice in CSRH. We suggest the following:
- Your current appraiser (who may be from a different specialty)
- Your line manager or clinical director
- An Educational Supervisor or Clinical Supervisor familiar with the CSRH curriculum, with whom you have worked to fulfil at least CiP 8. If this is not possible, a senior colleague who has undertaken peer review of your practice would be appropriate.
