What is the GMC’s currency period, and will taking time out of work affect my application?

The GMC defines a currency period for evidence to confirm that a clinician’s competence and professional engagement are current. While knowledge and skills can have been acquired at any point in the past, there must be evidence of continuing competency and engagement.
